Ralph and Andrea  have enjoyed pooling their individual talents and experience together to make an outstanding photo team that
will make you at ease from the first moment you meet them.  They are truly passionate about creating an experience and a
memory for you to cherish and share forever.

Ralph started his photography career in the US Navy Submarine Service during the Vietnam Era while serving as an Electronics
Technician on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt, SSBN 600  (Blue Crew) (that boat has since been turned into scrap metal or
a nice reef by now, who knows...you might be shaving with it).

Ralph was assigned  the collateral duty as the Ship's Photographer because he had a really nice camera. After six years of Navy
service, he started a photo equipment repair facility on Oahu, Hawaii where he also began his portraiture business, then called
Photographique. He was one of the Official Photographers of the First Honolulu Marathon in Oahu and has been photographing
it almost every year since then.
After experiencing "Island Fever" he moved to the "Mainland" and settled in Southern California.

Andrea, his wife, is an artist and photographer, which perfectly balances Ralph's technical photographic skills.
Andrea talent as an award-winning Digital Photo Painter,  transforming photographs into painterly works of art, has won her
many accolades for her photographs and Digital Paintings and has a full gallery of her work displayed on her own website at

"After 40 years of ingesting every aspect of photographic science and composition, I still find the camera to be an endlessly intriguing
partner that challenges my imagination and knowledge. All that with only 3 variables of shutter speed, aperture and focal length."
